Be You @ The Barn is a unique skills development program for girls ages 11-17,
empowering girls with resiliency skills needed to thrive rather than simply survive adolescence.
​
We support our girls by helping build their
confidence, communication, and leadership skills
all while having a whole lot of fun!
Three options to choose from:
Throughout six interactive modules, girls will:
🌸 Build their self-confidence, self-esteem and relational skills.

​
🌸 Practice setting, maintaining and respecting boundaries, and develop strategies to manage conflict.
​
​
​
​
​
🌸 Understand their communication style and build effective communication skills and strategies.
​
🌸 Develop their active listening and non-verbal communication skills.
​
🌸 Build resilience, practise gratitude and mindfulness. Learn to manage changes and challenges.
​
🌸 Practice setting SMART goals and build a vision for their future.
We are offering two 6-week Girls Empowerment Courses this summer:

May 12 - June 20 & June 23 - July 31
*Specific dates & times for the group will be decided as we get closer based on availability of all involved*

**The hands-on full-day workshop will take place within a week of the last virtual meeting**

Maybe you are located somewhere that even a day trip is too far. No problem, you can attend the online course from the comfort of your home.

If you're willing to make ONE drive out to the barn, you can add on the full day hands-on workshop which will bring the virtual lessons to life, and help the learning stick, while learning alongside our magnificent horses.

In Person
​
If you live near Snead, Alabama, and have the availability to meet in person once a week for 6 weeks, then we will meet in person each week for hands on learning with the horses as we go!
